Twin Cities Dance Club

Information on Club Membership, Dances and Dance Lessons  

Dance Lessons – Lessons will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 – 9 pm. 

Dances will be predominantly Country style dances for couples and singles such as two step, shuffle, waltz, swing, and line dances. Other dances will be taught at the discretion of the instructors. 

The instructors will be Joe Sorris on Tuesday nights and Jim Trombley on Thursdays. Joe will be teaching couples and line dances. Jim will teach couples dances only. Lessons will start at BEGINNER level with the basics for two step, waltz, triple two, shuffle and pattern style dances. More advanced lessons will be offered as the classes progress 

Cost for lessons is $3 per lesson per person for members and $5 per lesson per person for non-members. It is not necessary to have a partner to participate. 

Youths are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 16. Only those youths that are participating in lessons are permitted. 

Dances – Will be held every other Saturday night from 8pm until midnight. Music will be provided by CD’s. Cost for attendance at dances is $3 single, $5 couples for members and $5 per person for non-members. 

Membership – Annual membership can be obtained for $40 per person. The membership period will be from September 1 to April 30 the following year. Membership amount will be prorated based on the date paid. 

See a dance instructor or pick up an enrollment form at a dance, lesson, or from another member. Enrollment forms and fees can be given to the instructors or a Charter Member. 

 

Directions: The location of the building is on the corner of Kenai Spur Hwy and Beaver Loop. There is a banner on the building.
